Winter Wonderland Pt.1

Wow!! It's been a while sense I've posted. Busy, busy, busy! We have been creating up a storm, a SNOW storm that is.  The upcoming art that will be posted on our blog as well as adorning the hallways of our school, will have a winter theme.  We've been drawing and painting, snowmen, mittens, etc. and oh boy it's been fun!

In the next upcoming weeks, we will focus on Black History Month and African culture in our artwork.  Our theme for the upcoming musical is jazz and I have a few musical  art projects that I think are going to be really...jazzy! So, look out for some of those posts coming in February!

Until then, here are a few of the things that we have been finishing up.  More to come next week!

Kindergarten practiced their painting skills, with what I call "Shattered Colors".  These turned out very pretty.

Theses beauties were done by the 2nd grade class.  These were a hit among the principal!  I think they did a great job!
